Powering a new production line from utility service to startup.
IPS delivered the electrical infrastructure, controls coordination, and commissioning support for Shearer’s new Phoenix twin-screw line.
Phase 1 prepared the existing facility for new equipment through extensive modifications and multiple coordinated shutdowns and maintenance-of-plant-operations plans.
Phase 2 brought the new line online with a 4,000-amp utility service, a new control room and main distribution board, system control panels, and a VFD cabinet feeding the 500HP extruder motor.
